Awkwafina An American actor and singer, began with a series of rap songs dealing with issues related to race and sexuality. Her fame grew into Hollywood following the release of a series of raps. Nora Lum was born to Chinese Korean immigrants living in Forest Hills Queens. Her first exposure to music was through the instrument of trumpet. She also received the classical and jazz education later when she began to explore hip-hop as a teenager. While in the school, she focused on the field of journalism as well as women's studies. She also studied Mandarin for a while in Beijing. When she graduated, she started to concentrate on music. After becoming famous on the Internet and her own track My Vag was a reaction to the Mickey Avalon song My Dick. It eventually made its way onto the debut album Yellow Ranger. On the album, there was other hits that went viral, including Queef (body-positive) as well as NYC Bitche$1. The latter track connected directly to another project, Awkwafina's NYC a travel guide published in the year 2015. After having a great career as a singer and songwriter, she chose to assume the role of actor. Apart from the early television shows like Girl Code and Tawk, she's been featured in films like Neighbors2Storks as well as Bad Rap. In the year 2018 she scored several major roles like Dude Ocean's Eight or Crazy Rich Asians. This June, she released her EP "In Fina We Trust".
