Linda Edna Cardellini (n e Lorraine (Hernan), was born to Wayne David Cardellini (a businessman) in Redwood City. Linda is of Italian origins (her paternal grandpa), Irish, German, English and Scottish (her mother). Linda is a native of San Francisco Bay and grew to be the youngest of four children. She began her interest in acting at age ten, when she sang in a school Christmas play. The school play she performed in was as well as local community theater.
