Christina Haack was born in Anaheim California, on the 9th of July 1983. Her first job was in real estate after graduating from college. Tarek el Moussa was her future spouse. The couple had a great time prior to the 2008 stock market crash when many real estate and home flippers went bust. In the aftermath of the crash Tarek and Christina El Moussa almost lost the entirety of their wealth. They moved from their expensive house, for which they paid $6,000 a month, to a modest home that cost just $700. Their businesses and the economy slowly improved. HGTV & Rise to Fame Tarek enlisted his friend to aid in making an HGTV video audition in the year 2011. The tape featured Tarek as well as Christina working together to turn the inside of a home. Pie Town Productions, a production company based located in New York City was the first to receive the tape. The executives fell in love of Tarek, Christina and their stories. They officially signed a HGTV contract in the year the year 2012. The series "Flip of Flop" was launched on April 13, 2013. From 2013 until 2017 92 episodes shown over seven seasons. The show's characters, Christina and Tarek would purchase properties, usually mid-income homes in Orange County, and would later spend a few weeks completing upgrades in order that they could flip the property for profit. Tarek's main focus is demolition and renovating, while Christina is focused on designing.
